Black Hawk and Chinook aircrews and helicopters assigned to the 207th Aviation Troop Command, Alaska Army National Guard, conducted infiltration operations with the 10th Special Forces Group (Airborne) Green Berets in support of Operation POLAR DAGGER on Saint Lawrence Island, Alaska, Aug. 25. Operation POLAR DAGGER allowed the Green Berets to conduct air to ground integration operations, perform long-range movements, and engage with the Native Tribes to share best practices on survival techniques in the High North.
