Aircrew assigned to the 37th Bomb Squadron prepare for a CONUS-to-CONUS mission, Aug. 29, 2023, at Ellsworth Air Force Base, South Dakota. During this C2C mission, two B-1 Lancer bombers integrated with Japan Air Self-Defense Force F-2 fighters, exemplifying our alliance's ability to quickly and decisively respond to threats against Japan and the region. The U.S. remains committed to peace and prosperity throughout the Indo-Pacific alongside our Japanese Allies.(U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Dylan Maher)
