CAMP LEMONNIER, Djibouti (August 24, 2023) Service members from the U.S.
Navy Maritime Expeditionary Security Squadron 11, the U.S. Marine Corps
Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 364, and the U.S. Air Force 82nd
Expeditionary Rescue Squadron conduct a search and rescue training off the
coast of Djibouti, Africa, Aug. 24, 2023. The real-world maritime search and
rescue exercise supported expeditionary sustainment requirements and
improved tactical lines of communications between the Navy, Marines, and Air
Force reaction teams. CLDJ is an operational installation that enables U.S.,
allied, and partner nations forces to be where and when they are needed to
ensure security in Europe, Africa, and Southwest Asia. (U.S. Air Force photo
