Air Commodore Simon Strasdin, center, Royal Air Force Intelligence, Surveillance, Target Acquisition and Reconnaissance force commander, meets with 100th Maintenance Group leadership and representatives during a visit to RAF Mildenhall, England, Aug. 23, 2023. Strasdin is based at RAF Waddington, home of RAF ISTAR, the RAF’s eyes and ears in the sky, which provides British and NATO military commanders with critical information about activity on the ground, in the air, and at sea. He was at RAF Mildenhall to strengthen United Kingdom-US relationships and thank 100th ARW, 95th Reconnaissance Squadron and 488th Intelligence Squadron Airmen for their hard work and cooperation in the joint partnership program between the RAF and U.S. Air Force reconnaissance aircraft.
