Republic of Korea (ROK) Naval Special Warfare Flotilla and U.S. Navy SEALs administer advanced tactical care to various simulated casualties during a combined tactical combat casualty care (TCCC) training event on Aug. 24, 2023, at Camp Humphreys, ROK. The ROK and U.S. special operations communities conduct regular training to advance their ability to support mutual defense priorities and a free and open Indo-Pacific region. Tactical combat casualty care training is one of many ways in which U.S. and combined forces strengthen their survivability in dangerous situations and act as first responders for civilians in humanitarian assistance and disaster response scenarios.
