Republic of Korea (ROK) Naval Special Warfare Flotilla and U.S. Navy SEALs extract a simulated casualty during a combined tactical combat casualty care (TCCC) training event on Aug. 22, 2023, at Camp Humphreys, ROK. The investment in TCCC training comes after decades of advances in care from the point of injury to the application of more advanced care. This training ensures servicemembers can assist other military and civilian personnel injured in combat or other situations lacking advanced care facilities, primarily in areas of operation or while conducting tasks with inherently elevated risk.
