XVIII Airborne Corps Commanding General Daniel Allyn, center, passes the 82nd Combat Aviation Brigade colors to incoming Task Force Pegasus Commander Col. Michael J. Musiol during a ceremony at Pike Field, Dec. 13. Outgoing commander Col. T. J. Jamison, far right, commanded the Pegasus brigade for more than two years and led them during their most recent deployment to eastern Afghanistan, where they broke records by flying more hours than any other aviation unit since the beginning of the current conflict in Afghanistan. Musiol will lead the unit as it transforms to support the U.S. global response force, responding to a wide variety of humanitarian and combat missions around the world with little notice.
