U.S. Army 1st. Sgt. Bret Lowery, senior enlisted leader, with 3rd Battalion, 27th Field Artillery Regiment, supporting 4th Infantry Division, and Estonian army soldiers training on High-Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) operations, work together securing a HIMARS training-ammunition pod for a sling-load training exercise near Voru, Estonia, Sept. 6. The training exercise fostered interoperability between U.S. and Estonian forces and demonstrated the capability to rapidly deploy HIMARS ammunition anywhere across the Baltics. The 4th Inf. Div.'s mission in Europe is to engage in multinational training and exercises across the continent, working alongside NATO allies and regional security partners to provide combat-credible forces to V Corps, America’s forward deployed corps in Europe.
