Kenneth Whitesell, the outgoing Commander, U.S. Naval Air Forces (CNAF), passes through sideboys for the final time with his wife Melodye during a change of charge and retirement ceremony on Naval Air Station North Island. Whitesell has retired from the Navy after 39 years of service. Rear Adm. George Wikoff relieved Whitesell as acting Commander, Naval Air Forces.
