The U.S. Ambassador to Estonia, George P. Kent, addresses Estonian NATO Defender Medal recipients at Camp Tapa, Estonia, Sept. 6. In total, 1,015 NATO service medals were presented to Soldiers with the U.S. Army, the British Armed Forces, and the French Land Army. The medal is presented for completing a minimum of 90 days deployed to Estonia. The 4th Inf. Div.'s mission in Europe is to engage in multinational training and exercises across the continent, working alongside NATO allies and regional security partners to provide combat-credible forces to V Corps, America’s forward deployed corps in Europe.
