Recently purchased M1A2 Abrams used during the Tank Training Academy class, prepare to be tested and live fired in Biedrusko Training Area, Poland, Sept. 7, 2023. The collaboration between the United States and Poland followed negotiations that resulted in a purchase agreement for 250 of America’s M1A2 System Enhancement Program version 3 (SEPv3) Abrams Main Battle Tanks (MBT), with the intent to enhance security within Poland and increase capabilities to operate within the NATO alliance.
