U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Ganahel Leandre, student, Corporals School, Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Beaufort, rests in between the shallow water grappling event during the Corporals Course culminating event at MCAS Beaufort, South Carolina, Sept. 1, 2023. The IED Lane tested Marines’ ability to navigate through adverse terrain while avoiding IEDs, transporting gear and performing casualty evacuation. Corporals Course is a month-long professional military education program that develops Marines’ small unit leadership skills and continues to prepare them to lead Marines.
