U.S. Army Staff Capt. Jong Park, assigned to U.S. Army Southern European Task Force, Africa (SETAF-AF), participates in a weighted sled drag event during the SETAF-AF monthly Lion’s Legacy competition on Caserma Del Din, Vicenza, Italy, Sept. 8, 2023. The Lion’s Legacy Series encourages SETAF-AF soldiers to cooperate and compete in a skill and athletic based event that strengthens the abilities and bonds of the unit. SETAF-AF provides U.S. Africa Command and U.S. Army Europe & Africa a dedicated headquarters to synchronize Army activities in Africa and scalable crisis response options in Africa and Europe.
