The Vermont National Guard hosted the annual Vermont Remembers Run (VRR) at Camp Johnson in Colchester, Vermont, September 10. Community members and the Vermont National Guard gather every year for a run to pay tribute to those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001, and to honor the servicemen and servicewoman who lost their lives in the Global War on Terror. The VRR serves as a way to bring together community members, veterans, and the Vermont National Guard in a spirit of remembrance and unity. Funds raised will benefit the VT National Guard Fallen Soldiers Memorial. Participants can choose to the 5 kilometer or 11 kilometer run or the Military Ruck. (U.S. Army National Guard photo by Sgt.
