Spc. Simonton, an Atlanta, Georgia native, is a marksmanship instructor/competitive shooter with the U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit out of Fort Moore, Georgia. This Soldier was part of the U.S. Team that won the Gold Medal in the Women’s Skeet Team event. Not only did they win the Gold Medal, but they also set a new world record when they beat out the Italian team with their combined score of 365/375.
