U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Brandon Hatmaker, a musician with the Marine Forces Reserve Band, Marine Forces Reserve, points to a picture of himself on the wall of Lee University, Cleveland, Tennessee, Sept. 13, 2023. Hatmaker attended Lee University up until 2017 when he enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was a trumpet player with the Lee University band. The Marine Forces Reserve Band performs an annual spring and fall tour to showcase their dedication to their craft. This year, their fall tour comprises Tennessee middle schools, high schools, and universities including Tennessee State University, Lee University, and University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
