A sign and a photograph of firefighters with Engine 60, Ladder 17, New York City Fire Department, hangs in the airframes work section of Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 169 aboard Camp Bastion, Afghanistan. In an effort to ensure Marines remember why they are deployed, the squadron has adopted the ladder company, which was heavily involved during the rescue attempts at the World Trade Center, Sept. 11, 2001.
