Staff Sgt. William Johnson, a human resources specialist with 3rd Platoon, 510th Human Resources Company, Special Troops Battalion, 7th Sustainment Brigade, walks down a sidewalk path leading to the parking lot as he is handed a last minute goodie bag after the 510th HRC Deployment Ceremony Dec. 8. During the nine-month deployment to Kuwait, Johnson and the 19-Soldier platoon will be responsible for the accountability of all soldiers coming in and out of theater. 1st Lt. Amaquah Bonsu will be the platoon leader and Sgt. 1st Class Donna Pankey, the platoon sergeant.
