CAMP LEMONNIER, Djibouti (September 13, 2023) U.S. Navy Capt. Suzanne Krauss, commanding officer of Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti participates in Camp Lemonnier’s Suicide Prevention Awareness Month activity, the 22 Pushup Challenge, Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti, Sept. 13. A statistic released by the VA estimated that 22 veterans die every day by suicide, the pushup challenge raises awareness for mental health of veterans. CLDJ is an operational installation that enables U.S., allied, and partner nation forces to be where and when they are needed to ensure security in Europe, Africa, and Southwest Asia.
