PORT HUENEME, Calif. (Sept. 21, 2023) - Capt. Robert Barr Kimnach III, commanding officer, Naval Base Ventura County (NBVC) delivers remarks during a Bells Across America ceremony to honor those who died while on active duty during the past 12-months. This memorial event is a way for the military community to honor and remember the sacrifice of fallen service members and the loved ones they left behind. NBVC is a strategically located Naval installation composed of three operating facilities: Point Mugu, Port Hueneme and San Nicolas Island.
