An emergency services watercraft retrieves a Paratrooper assigned to the 82nd Airborne Division after a water landing at Jordan Lake in Apex, N.C., Sept. 14, 2023. The daytime, non-tactical airborne water jump was part of a Jumpmaster Leader Development Airborne Water Operations exercise to enhance proficiency and confidence among Paratroopers, positioning them to effectively share their knowledge with their respective formations.
