YOKOSUKA, Japan (May 28, 2023) - Shinto priests from local shrines lead the Suwajinsha Mikoshi Parade through downtown Yokosuka May 28, 2023. The parade, a tradition for the last 450 years, included members of various local shrines and community members from Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka, including distinguished guest Cmdr. Lida Cooper, the installation's Chief Staff Officer. This was the first time in four years the parade was held (U.S. Navy photo by James Kimber)
