U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Duane Strickland III, a chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear responder with Combat Combat Logistics Regiment 37, is sprayed with water to remove remaining gas particles from his face after standing maskless in the gas chamber during Korean Marine Exchange Program (KMEP) 23 at Jeongcheon–Ri, South Korea, Aug. 27, 2023. KMEP is a bilateral exercise series focusing on bolstering ROK and U.S. Marine Corps interoperability as a unified, regional littoral force.
