The Buffalo Niagara Waterkeepers host an information event that featured Gabe Schmidbauer, a project manager from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Buffalo District, on possible revitalization efforts for the Scajaquada Creek which runs through Erie County, at the Walden Galleria Mall, Cheektowaga, New York, Sept. 21, 2023. The event at the mall highlighted the fact that the creek is buried underneath the mall, as the Waterkeepers, as a non-federal partner, look to possible uses of creek in the future.
