Virginia Beach, VA (September 16, 2023) MU1 Ross Hartig lays down a solid beat on the drums performing with "Four-Star Edition." The rock band unit "Four-Star Edition" from U.S. Fleet Forces Band supports the 2023 NAS Oceana Air Show Beach Blast. The event is in collaboration with the NAS Oceana F-18 'Rhino' Demo team as well as the U.S. Navy Parachute Team "The Leap Frogs" and U.S. Navy Blue Angels. Four-Star Edition performs as entertainment and as a way to gather community members in celebration of this year's air show theme "50 Years of Women in Aviation." The band, the musical representative for U.S. Fleet Forces Command, provides support for ships, military bases, foreign dignitaries, and community events throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Ohio River Valley areas of the United States, and also regularly deploys to Central and South America.
