Kimberly Peeples, commander of the Mississippi Valley Division (MVD), U.S. Army Corps of Engineers as she visited laboratory staff with the Formerly Utilized Sites Remedial Action Program (FUSRAP), St. Louis District, Sep. 26, 2023. Peeples site visit gave her the opportunity to ask questions about laboratory and FUSRAP operations and their capabilities cleaning up radiological contamination resulting from the Manhattan Engineer District/Atomic Energy Commission during the nation’s early atomic program.
