Urasoe Police Chief Misao Sunabe gives his remarks following an award ceremony recognizing several U.S. Marines at the Urasoe Police Station in Okinawa, Japan, Sept. 27, 2023. The Marines were recognized for rendering first aid to Okinawan citizens following a motor vehicle accident. The Marines are with 3d Assault Amphibian Battalion and are currently forward deployed in the Indo-Pacific under 4th Marines, 3d Marine Division as part of the Unit Deployment Program.
