U.S. Army Soldier Col. Grant Fawcett, 3rd Infantry Division deputy commander for support, speaks at the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the newly remodeled USO facility at Bemowo Piskie Training Area, Sept. 28. The USO workers, along with multinational soldiers from NATO’s enhanced Forward Presence Battle Group Poland who volunteered at the facility in their spare time, spent the last three months developing the facility to create a space for deployed personnel to enjoy. The 3rd Infantry Division’s mission in Europe is to engage in multinational training and exercises across the continent, working alongside NATO allies and regional security partners to provide combat-credible forces to V Corps, America’s forward deployed corps in Europe.
