NAVAL STATION NORFOLK (Sept. 29, 2023) Chief Operations Specialist Jullian Keller is welcomed to the Chiefs Mess during a chief petty officer pinning ceremony at Carrier Strike Group (CSG) 4’s headquarters on board Naval Station Norfolk, Sept. 29, 2023. During the ceremony, a total of eight new chiefs from Carrier Strike CSG-4, CSG-7 (Harry S. Truman Carrier Strike Group), CSG-10 (George H.W. Bush Carrier Strike Group), Undersea Warfighting Development Center, and Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 28 received their anchors and combination covers. CSG-4 mentors, trains, and assesses carrier strike groups, amphibious ready groups, and independent deployers for global combat against peer competitors.
