A U.S. Air Force pilot assigned to the 144th Fighter Wing, Fresno Air National Guard Base, California, lands an F-15C Eagle assigned to 159th Fighter Wing, Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base New Orleans, Louisiana, at Kadena Air Base, Japan, Oct. 3, 2023. While deployed to the Keystone of the Pacific, these National Guard Eagles will work in conjunction with additional heavy, reconnaissance, and fourth and fifth generation fighter aircraft assets that are both augmented to and stationed at Kadena Air Base to ensure continued steady-state fighter capabilities in the region.
