ANNAPOLIS, Md. (Sept. 29, 2023) The Honorable Meredith Berger Assistant Secretary of the Navy, U.S. Naval Academy Acting Superintendent Rear Adm. Fredrick Kacher, Deputy Commandant Captain David Forman, Mr. James Schwab class president 1988, and Lt. John-Rex Spivey, class president of 2013, review the U.S. Naval Academy’s second formal parade of the season. Parades are a visual presentation of the military discipline, professionalism and teamwork necessary to succeed as a member of the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps, and have been a part of Naval Academy training since its establishment in 1845.
