Marine Corps Community Services food truck banners are displayed for the Mobile Feeding Pilot Program at the Foster Community Center, Camp Foster, Okinawa, Japan, Oct. 4, 2023. To boost the quality of life for service members in the pacific region, U.S. Marines and Navy Sailors may now use their meal entitlements on the Chef Shack and La Cocina MCCS food trucks instead of mess halls by showing their military ID cards. The program is currently only available on Camp Foster, however Food Service Operations plans to expand their outreach to every Marine Corps installation in the Pacific.
