Froberg, Commanding Officer, Recruit Training Command (RTC) stand for the citizenship oath at RTC’s Naturalization Ceremony. Since restarting the naturalization program in October of 2021, RTC has had more than 1072 recruits take the Oath of Citizenship and has assisted more than 1,400 recruits with their N-426 and N-400 forms. In Fiscal Year 2022, more than 10,600 service members were naturalized, with more than 2,000 of them being members of the United States Navy. Boot camp is approximately 10 weeks and all enlistees into the U.S. Navy begin their careers at the command. More than 40,000 recruits train annually at the Navy's only boot camp.
