U.S. Army Lt. Col. Leah Sanchez and Capt. Emilie Anderson, both assigned to U.S. Army Southern European Task Force, Africa (SETAF-AF), participate in the Vajont Dam memorial parade during the observances of the 60th anniversary of the disaster in Longarone, Italy, on October 8th, 2023. On October 9, 1963, a mega-tsunami at the Vajont Dam caused by landslides resulted in one of the worst man-made disasters in history.
