U.S. Navy Hospital Corpsmen with Marine Aircraft Group (MAG) 24, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, and Naval Medical Readiness and Training Command (NMRTC) conduct an annual influenza vaccine shot exercise hosted by NMRTC Kaneohe Bay Clinic, Marine Corps Base Hawaii, Oct. 5, 2023. The shot exercise, also referred to as SHOTEX, is a medical readiness stand-down held to increase medical readiness by providing vaccinations to military personnel while providing corpsmen the training opportunity to conduct live procedures.
