Members of Paepae o He’eia, a private non-profit organization dedicated to caring for He’eia Fishpond, remove the invasive plant species pickleweed (Batis maritima) during the first community work day following the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding for co-stewardship of Nu’upia Fishpond Wildlife Management Area (WMA), Marine Corps Base Hawaii, Oct. 7, 2023.
