Acting Navy Surgeon General, Rear Adm. Darin K. Via, and Force Master Chief Michael J. Roberts, director of the Hospital Corps, visited Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command (NMRTC) Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, to commence his USINDOPACOM site visits Oct. 11, 2023. During the visit, Navy Medicine operational leaders across Oahu attended an all hands call where Rear Adm. Via discussed the future of Navy Medicine as a whole, the FY24 Bureau of Medicine and Surgery (BUMED) Campaign Order, and were praised for their critical contributions to the mission.
