Eight Soldiers from 30th Troop Command competed against one another in the 2024 Best Warrior Competition in order to earn Soldier of the Year (SOY) and Non-Commissioned Officer (NCO) of the Year (NOY) at Volunteer Training Site from Oct. 13, 2023 through Oct. 15, 2023. The annual Best Warrior Competition tests the physical and mental prowess of Soldiers and NCOs, who do not know how they are doing throughout the competition until the SOY and NOY are announced at the end of the competition.
