Zach Harting, a competitive swimmer for Team USA, inflates a lifejacket during a Survival, Evasion, Resistance and Escape water survival course at Fairchild Air Force Base, Washington, Sept. 25, 2023. During the course, Airmen assigned to a variety of career fields learned techniques needed to survive an emergency water landing and call for rescue. Harting and Natalie Hinds, competitive swimmers for Team USA, visited Fairchild AFB to participate in water survival training and a parachute immersion.
