A U.S. Air Force A-10 Thunderbolt II prepares to receive fuel from a U.S. Air Force KC-135 Stratotanker assigned to 912th Expeditionary Air Refueling Squadron over the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility June 6, 2023. By providing U.S. Air Forces Central with aerial refueling capabilities, the 912th EARS is able to expand the reach of fighter assets which allows for combat power projection across the AOR.
