U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Javier Gonzalez, 51st Operations Support Squadron radar approach control air traffic watch supervisor, practices on a radar virtual simulation at the Republic of Korea Air Force Education and Training Command, Jinju, Republic of Korea, Oct. 12, 2023. Gonzalez recently won an air traffic control competition hosted by ROKAF and was invited back to demonstrate his skills to U.S. and ROK leadership.
