Alaska Airmen from the 168th Civil Engineering Squadron constructed an Emergency Management Fold-Out Rigid Temporary Shelter (FORTS) during Agile Combat Employment training at Fort Greely Donnelly Training area, October 12-16, 2023. The FORTS provides a facility more rigid than a tent and provides LAN connections and electrical outlets. The ACE exercise assessed the ability of the 168th Wing Airmen to perform a range of military combat operations in a complex and dynamic remote environment. The multi-capable Airmen provided support from their career fields while building capabilities to operate outside their normal duties. (U.S. Air National Guard photo by Senior Master Sgt. Julie Avey)
