A rescue crew from Coast Guard Air Station Elizabeth City conducted a search and rescue exercise (SAREX) off the coast Virginia, Oct. 17, 2023. During the training, a rescue swimmer was lowered onto the powered-down wind turbine, rendezvoused with technicians from Dominion Energy, lowered the stokes litter, and simulated a rescue.
