United States Ambassador to Nepal Dean R. Thompson celebrates the end of a three-week joint combined training event with members of the Nepalese Army Mahabir Ranger Regiment, U.S. Army 1st Special Forces Group, and 5th Psychological Operations Battalion at the closing ceremony Sept. 29, 2023, in Kathmandu, Nepal. The training focused on rescue and peacekeeping operations, disaster response, and humanitarian assistance.
