U.S. Air Force Airmen assigned to the 86th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron prepare to load their gear onto a UC-35A Cessna Citation V at Ramstein Air Base, Germany, Oct. 19, 2023. The Army is supporting the Air Force with a relationship benefitting both services by building skills together, ultimately keeping the 86th AES flexible with new aircraft certifications to continue providing support for their patients. When aircraft used by the 86th AES are down for routine maintenance, they are able to work with the Army to continue providing airlift medical evacuation support.
