U.S. Marine Corps veterans Sgt. George Silva, a Virginia Beach, Virginia native and former section chief, left, and Sgt. Chuck Clark, a Saratoga Springs, New York native and former section chief, right, with 1st Battalion, 10th Marine Regiment, 2d Marine Division, take a moment to pose with their old unit physical training shirt on Camp Lejeune, North Carolina Oct 23, 2023.

“We had two of them, this yellow one, and a white one. This is Charlie 1/10 in BLT 1/8 which represented the 24th MAU that was in Beirut, Lebanon, 1983. We would wear this to PT or just as workout shirts and we rocked the middle east wearing it,” said U.S. Marine Corps veteran Sgt. George Silva, a Virginia Beach, Virginia native and Section Chief for gun 2.

U.S. Marines and veterans came out for a tour of the weapon systems, Harold C. Agerholm Memorial gun park, old barracks and to socialize at Fiddler’s Green in memory of those who served with them in Beirut, Lebanon.
