Mark Wagstaff, a supply technician with Ammunition Company, 1st Supply Battalion, 1st Marine Logistics Group, poses for a portrait photo after receiving a Certificate of Commendation during a quarterly awards ceremony at Camp Pendleton, California, Oct. 20, 2023. Wagstaff distinguished himself by holding a billet normally held by a warrant officer. He led, trained, and mentored all ammunition technicians in his section with over 40 hours of cumulative instruction and facilitated key changes to the records section. The awards ceremony is conducted every quarter to highlight Marines, Sailors, and civilian employees of 1st MLG who go above and beyond the expectations set by their respective units.
