The 2nd Brigade Ranger Challenge is the Army ROTC Varsity Sport which typically takes place in mid-October. Forty-Nine schools assembled at Fort Dix in NJ for this annual event. Over 690 cadets competed in the 2nd Brigade Ranger Challenge this year to test their physiological and psychological toughness through fast-paced skills training and physically demanding events. Some of the individual skills include land navigation, weapons systems, and combat casualty care as well as demanding physical challenges such as the one rope bridge, grenade course and ruck marches.
