Crews with 2nd Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion, Delta Company, run through a live-fire exercise December 10 to 12, aboard Camp Lejeune, N.C. “I think the training holds a significant purpose for our crews. It’s basically their only chance to do live fire before gunnery (qualification), in February. It allows the crews to get a feel for how each individual operates, which is important because we recently changed personnel in the crews,” said the Midland, Mich. Native, Capt. Johnathan D. Reed, Delta Company Commander Company. “This also allows our crews to identify potential problems with the vehicles and their weapon systems.”
