A U.S. Coast Guard MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter assigned to Coast Guard Air Station Kodiak airlifts six of 18 crew members with the Royal Dutch Shell mobile drilling unit Kulluk off the drilling rig in 15- to 20-foot seas in the Gulf of Alaska 80 miles southwest of Kodiak city, Alaska, Dec. 29, 2012. The Coast Guard deployed cutters and aircraft to assist the Kulluk after a tugboat encountered difficulties while attempting to tow the drilling rig to Seattle for maintenance.
